		<description>Thanks for the question! I updated the post to answer too, but you DO need to still use the wireless dongle. The keyboard always functions as a wireless keyboard, and the USB power input is just to power the device.</description>

Do you need to keep the wireless dongle plugged in when you are using the USB cable? I switched to a new setup which seems to cut off my wireless mouse signal despite being within a close range to my computer, so I don&#039;t want those same problems with my keyboard.</description>
